DEARBORN, Mich., June 22, 2014 – Round three of the Red Bull Global Rallycross (GRC) season ended in an all-Ford podium in the nation's capital as Patrik Sandell led the Olsbergs MSE (OMSE) powered Fiesta STs to a dominant performance in claiming his first series victory.

'The Kobalt Tools Olsbergs MSE Ford Fiesta ST performed flawlessly this weekend and it was fantastic to win. And for the team to have two drivers on the podium this weekend really showed the strength of our Ford rallycross cars,' said Sandell.

Second place finisher Nelson Piquet Jr. challenged Sandell for the number one spot throughout the race before being forced to settle for the runner-up position and his second straight GRC podium.

'It was a great weekend in DC in the WIX Filters Fiesta ST, and I'm very proud to be part of Ford's podium sweep. It was good, fair racing against Patrik. Congratulation to him and Ford,' said Piquet Jr. 'With a fourth, third and now a second-place finish this season, we are looking forward to New York.'

GRC SuperCar rookie, Joni Wiman, piloted his OMSE Ford Fiesta ST to a third-place finish, capturing the final spot on the podium.

'We've known since the start of the season that we had the speed to win and this weekend it came together for the Olsbergs MSE team,' said Wiman. 'I'm happy to earn my first Supercars podium in the Red Bull/Bluebeam Ford Fiesta ST here in DC and being able to stand on the podium with my teammate made it even better.'

The Red Bull GRC season will pick back up in Uniondale, NY on July 20.
