2004 Jaguar XJ Series

The Jaguar XJ8 was given the XJ's full-monocoque aluminum unit body which made it much lighter and stronger than the body configuration it replaced. The 32-valve all-aluminum 4.2-liter V8 was also lightweight and powerful, offering nearly 300 horsepower and over 300 lb-ft of torque. The engine was backed by a six-speed automatic transmission and fitted with four-wheel disc brakes. The 22.5-gallon fuel tank allowed for over 400 miles of driving between fill-ups. Numerous luxury amenities came standard, including leather throughout the cabin, wood trim, 12-way power front seats, and adjustable pedals.
