1986 Jaguar XJ6

The 1986 Jaguar XJ6 was available as a four-door sedan and as the uprated Vanden Plas edition, which sold for $35,550 (just over $3,000 over the base model). For the 1986 model year, Jaguar added British Racing Green to the list of available colors, along with a new 40-watt Alpine sound system. The Vanden Plas edition received new rear-seat headrests while the base model was given a walnut finish to the center console.

Powering the XJ6 was a dual overhead-cam six-cylinder engine that displaced 258 cubic-inches and offered nearly 180 horsepower. A three-speed automatic gearbox was standard and there were disc brakes in both the front and rear.
