The 1992 Jaguar XJS was available as a coupe or convertible. The coupe sold for $60,500 while the convertible was just under $59,000. The engine was an overhead-cam twelve-cylinder engine offering 263 horsepower and mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox. Changes for 1992 included a wrap-around neutral-density taillights, a new grille, front chrome trim, and flared rocker panels. Inside, there was a new instrument panel, a new computer, and sport seats.
