In 1941, Ford commissioned E.T. Gregorie and his team to redesign the model. The vertically pointed grille became more of a curvaceous horizontal facade, and the body was refined. For the DeLuxe series, five body styles were available, including two coupes, two-door and four-door sedans, and a station wagon. Among the standard features on the DeLuxe series were Ebody grain dashboard, glove box lock, dual wipers and sun visors.
