1927 Studebaker President Big Six

The Big Six was produced from 1918 through 1927. When first introduced, the Big Six was available only as a four-door touring car. After 1920 the Big Six was offered in a wider selection of body styles due to customers desiring enclosed and semi-enclosed passenger compartments.

The Big Sixes were very reliable. At the 1924 New York Auto Show, Studebaker displayed a Big Six that had an odometer reading of over 500,000 miles.

The Big Sixes were powered by a 354 cubic-inch six-cylinder engine that produced 60 horsepower. By 1926 power was raised to 75 horsepower.
