1995 Chevrolet Camaro

Chevrolet produced 115,365 Camaro models for 1995, available in both coupe and convertible body styles. The base coupe came with a 3.8-liter V6 that was fitted with a five-speed manual transmission. Standard equipment included airbags, an energy absorbing steering column and other safety devices, back-up lights, directional signal control, windshield defrosters, washers and multi-speed wipers, a brake/transmission shift interlock, dual sport mirrors, auxiliary lighting, a front air dam, halogen headlights, a rear deck lid spoiler, and a deep-well luggage area. They had an AM/FM stereo with cassette tape player, front disc and rear drum brakes, bolt-on wheel covers, a Firm Ride & Handling suspension, carpeted front floor mats, a dual-action hood latch, back-up lights, parking lamps, and four-way hazard warning flashers.

The Camaro Z28 models had an LT1 5.7-liter V8 engine mated to a Borg-Warner T56 six-speed manual transmission. A four-speed automatic was optional. The new options on the Z28 included a monochromatic roof treatment on the coupes, as well as optional chrome-plated wheel covers and aluminum wheels. They also had speed-rate performance tires, a 150-mph speedometer, and an optional traction-control system. The Z28 also had the PASS-Key II theft-deterrent system, a Delco Freedom II batter, power rack-and-pinion steering, rear-wheel drive, and a stainless steel exhaust system.
