2002 Fastlane Concept

This concept is from the movie 'Fastlane'. Never heard of the movie? That's ok, it was never released. The studio spent $2.8 million dollars to create the car and part of the project before the decision was made to abandon the project.

The car is powered by a multi-port, fuel-injected V6 engine that sits mid-ship and powers the rear wheels. There is an automatic transmission and a slew of futuristic features such as automatic hydraulic doors, an onboard fire extinguishing system, and air-ride suspension. The body is comprised of epoxy and fiberglass with a polymer finish and laser-cut acrylic windows.

It is a drivable concept and is currently in the possession of the Volvo Auto Museum. It is one of about thirty Hollywood cars in their possession. The exterior is finished in blue with a red interior.
