1955 Cadillac Custom Viewmaster

The Cadillac Custom Viewmaster was built on the Series 62 platform with a wheelbase measuring 129 inches and the cowl and floor pan from the Series 86 Commerical. The doors were courtesy of Fleetwood and the tail-gate glass was sourced from the Chevrolet Nomad wagon. Most received wood side-paneling in Fiberglass and chrome was used around the window pillars.

The Hess & Eisenhardt Company of Cincinnati, Ohio worked in conjunction with the Cadillac Motor Car Division to build the Custom Viewmaster Station Wagons in 1955 and 1956. The overhead-valve V8 displaced 331 cubic inches and delivered 250 horsepower at 4,600 RPM.
