◾Sweepstakes gives college basketball fans a chance for insider-access at 26 colleges

◾Underway now and runs three weeks leading up to each game day

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Ever wish for premium seats, a meet-and-greet with the coach or play-by-play radio crew, possible access to broadcast/press events, and a chance for a VIP game day experience during your college's basketball season? At 26 colleges and universities across the U.S., Nissan's College 100 program is launching its first large-scale 'Ultimate Access' sweepstakes* (#NissanUltimateAccess), providing a chance for super fans to gain insider privileges at college basketball games in late February and early March.

'From Georgia, to Michigan, to Duke and to USC, and many schools in between, Nissan is engaging with consumers and fans of college sports to drive awareness of our innovative and exciting product lineup, up close, personal, where fans are experiencing the excitement of their teams,' said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America.

The sweepstakes kicked off Feb. 1 and runs for about three weeks, with most winners receiving tickets and a VIP experience during the last week in February or early in March (prizes vary by school). There will be activations on campuses where consumers can meet with Nissan and register to win. Local dealers near each school also will offer information about the sweepstakes in their showrooms, promoting consumers to sign up online, and local media will promote registration as well.

'Nissan's marketing strategy is about leveraging cultural moments, like the passion that fans have for college basketball each spring,' said Tucker. 'We wanted to take this moment to go big again and showcase the unprecedented access that our College 100 program is just beginning to deliver to our fans, and fans of college sports. There is much more to come.'
