MASTERS HISTORIC FORMULA ONE RETURNS TO THE CLASSIC MOTORSPORTS MITTY PRESENTED BY HAGERTY

We are delighted to announce that the Masters Historic Formula One series will be bringing plenty of Ford power to the 2016 Mitty where Ford is the featured Marque.

This series showcases Ford Cosworth DFV powered Formula One cars from 1966 - 1985. Expect to see iconic cars such as: McLaren, BRM, Lotus, Arrows, Benetton, March, Tyrell etc.

The Mitty is the first stop of a tour will see the cars running at both the US and Mexican rounds of the 2016 Formula One series.

Prepare for more adrenline pumping excitment when racings loudest and most extreme road racing series takes to the track at the Mitty as the 50th Anniversay of the Can Am series is celebrated.

Masters Historic Racing will also join HSR at Daytona and Sebring with pre-1966 GT and touring cars competing in a series of enduros at these most famous of American race tracks.

There will be two endurance races run in the Florida sunshine at HSR-run historic events in Daytona and Sebring. The burgeoning Daytona Historic weekend will feature a Masters endurance race during the November 10-13 Daytona Historics, giving Masters drivers a unique opportunity to experience the unforgettable Daytona banking.

The teams will then move on to Sebring International Speedway for the final race as a part of the much anticipated inaugural Classic 12 Hour, Pistons and Props, December 1-4.

The decision to run races in North America as well as Europe will attract a wide variety of cars to what will be a popular new initiative in historic racing.
