LAND ROVER AND BORN CELEBRATE EXCEPTION CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION

(Mahwah, NJ) March 16, 2016 - Land Rover has partnered with the leading alternative financing platform BORN to celebrate the outstanding work within the design and creative industry.

The awards were founded by Jean-Christophe Chopin, the CEO of BORN, and will be presided over by Gerry McGovern, Land Rover's Chief Design Officer who has also worked with his in-house team to design and produce a bespoke award for the ceremony.

This year's awards will take place on Wednesday March 23 in Courchevel, France. The nominees include:

The nominees are available for interview ahead of the award ceremony.

Throughout the award ceremony, there will be an exhibition where sculptor and previous BORN award winner, Richard Orlinski will reveal 11 spectacular animal sculptures, including a bespoke wire frame Range Rover Evoque Convertible with a wild 'Kong' at the sports complex, Aquamotion in Courchevel.

It's where innovative products are discovered, financed and bought by its community of design enthusiasts.Each year, BORN celebrates and nurtures creative leaders and outstanding work within the design and creative industry with the BORN Awards.The awards, first presented in 2010 at the Courchevel ski resort, France, celebrate men and women who know how to take the creative risks to make their dreams into reality. Previous winners have included director Danny Boyle, composer Jean-Michel Jarre, artists Richard Orlinski and designer Ramesh Nair.
