FURTHER EXPANSION FOR THE TDI-TUNING TEAM
April 13, 2016 by TDI-Tuning◾Essex-based tuning firm supports national apprenticeship drive ◾Team expansion to include another two new members in April TDI-Tuning, the British tuning box design and engineering company, has expanded its customer services team with a new member, whilst supporting the government's drive to promote young people's opportunities through apprenticeship schemes. The new addition is 17-year-old apprentice Courtney Drury. It will be Courtney's first office-based commercial role. TDI-Tuning is no stranger to apprenticeship schemes; having started as a small business in 2004, and now a medium-size enterprise, it has in the past given opportunities to young people: the apprenticeship scheme was used successfully before, to fill a junior technician role. Apprentice Terry Wright eventually became a fully-fledged employee and is still with the firm four years later, underlining both the strength of TDI-Tuning's commitment to, and the validity of, apprenticeship schemes. 'We want to nurture and train young people with a view to a long-term career in the company,' says MD Graeme King. 'We believe that the apprenticeship scheme affords newcomers opportunities to grow and learn, not only with TDI-Tuning but also as individuals. Courtney is excited about the chance to join an established business, and knows that there is plenty of scope for personal and professional development here.' TDI-Tuning's growth does not stop here: after the appointment of Michael Brand as Marketing manager at the end of 2015, and Amelia Verri as Customer Relations and Sales manager last month, Courtney will be joined by another two new members of the team by the end of April.
