More auction prizes will be revealed on the night. Celebrating the world's oldest sports car endurance race, the must-attend event will take place on July 5th at Hexagon's flagship East Finchley showroom. It will feature a live Q+A hosted by Amanda Stretton, with Le Mans stories from Derek Bell MBE, Jacky Ickx, Richard Attwood and Mark Blundell.

In addition, guests will be able to get close to an amazing display of endurance racers including a 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, 1987 Porsche 962, 1985 Jaguar XJR-6, 1956 Longnose D-type and enjoy food from a two-star Michelin chef. All proceeds will go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals Charity.

Paul Michaels, chairman of Hexagon Classics, said: 'Our Le Mans night is packed with star drivers and racing cars – and we'll have an incredible selection of auction lots to match. I'm very grateful to everyone who has donated a prize and with such a mouthwatering lot list I'm sure we're going to raise even more money for our chosen charities.

'My granddaughter owes her life to the care she received while at Great Ormond Street and I am so happy that we will be able to give something back to this great hospital – and the Royal Brompton & Harefield Hospitals too – helping them to continue their incredible work. Last summer's celebration of Ayrton Senna raised £72,000 and we have every intention of eclipsing that incredible figure.'

Hexagon's 24 Hours of Le Mans celebration evening will take place on July 5th at 730pm at Hexagon's flagship north London showroom located at 82-92 Great North Road, London, N2 0NL.

Tickets cost £195 and include food from two-star Michelin star chef Christian Honor. Interested guests are asked to RSVP: Annabel@hexagon.uk.net or call 07711 169 111
