1963 was a big year for the two-seater MG Midget Roadster, as disc brakes in the front were not standard equipment. Under the bonnet was a larger 67 cubic-inch four-cylinder engine that offered 55 horsepower, an increase of five horsepower. The 1962 and 1963 Midget sold for $1940; pricing went up by five dollars the following year. The production of the Mark I (GAN2) Midget lasted from October of 1962 to 1964, with a total of 9,601 examples being built.
