1976 Jaguar XJ6

For 1974, Jaguar introduced a long wheelbase version of the XJ6 sedan called the XJ6L. The XJ6L had a longer wheelbase and an additional four inches was added to the rear of the front door. Most of the XJ6L were sold in the United States.

For 1976, there were few changes to the XJ6 Series II. The 2-door Coupe (XJ6C) sold for $14,850 while the 4-door sedan (XJ6L) sold for $14,100.

Powering the car was a dual-overhead cam six-cylinder engine displacing 258.4 cubic-inches and offering 160 horsepower. A three-speed automatic was standard and disc brakes could be found in the front and the rear.
