Serafino Allemano opened his coachbuilding shop in Turin in 1928; it closed in 1965. Many of his cars were shop designs. Some, however, were from Michelotti or Scaglietti. 1958 was the last year of the Allemano-bodied Fiat 600 chassis Abarths, most of which were 750cc versions. The 750 first appeared in 1956 and specifications vary. The 633 four-cylinder engine was enlarged to 747cc and many of the components were replaced or modified. These changes brought horsepower from 23 bhp to 44 bhp and gave it a top speed of nearly 100 mph.
