• Access to Autographs, Race Cars and Discounted Concours Tickets at September 4th Morning EventATLANTA, Ga., September 1, 2016 – As the first woman to lead an American Le Mans Series race, and one of only two drivers to pilot both the roadster and the coupe version of the revolutionary DeltaWing prototype race car, Katherine Legge races in a league of her own. And on Sunday morning, September 4th, from 8 to 10 a.m., at the nationally recognized Caffeine & Octane car show at Perimeter Mall in Dunwoody, the Atlanta Concours d'Elegance organization will feature Legge for a meet-and-greet autograph session, showcasing not only her race car but also DeltaWing Racing's and Panoz's involvement in the upcoming inaugural Atlanta Concours d'Elegance at Château Èlan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Ga. The Atlanta Concours d'Elegance, to be held Oct. 8-9, is the most recent competitive classic car show to join the ranks of the more than two dozen top Concours events throughout the United States. It is also the first to feature the DeltaWing race cars and Panoz race and street cars among a field that will include more than 170 vehicle entrants, 40 sponsors and numerous vintage car collections and restoration programs. According to Bill Wallet, co-founder and co-chairman of Atlanta's newest classic car venue, for a Concours event to be nationally recognized – especially on a first-year front – support by globally renowned automotive experts, sponsors and award-winning vehicles are needed to foster the groundswell for participation and attendance. As such, Panoz is the Premiere Sponsor for the Atlanta Concours, and pharmaceutical magnate and founder of Panoz Motor Sport Group, Don Panoz, will be the upcoming event's honoree. 'The Atlanta Concours has been three years in the making,' said Wallet. 'DeltaWing and its sister company Panoz were the first to put their faith in us. And more than a dozen luxury, exotic and global manufacturers, including Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Tesla and Rolls Royce, all followed suit and are putting their best foot forward to help our community claim a leadership stance in the highly competitive car show arena.' Legge will sign autographs at Caffeine & Octane Sunday, then get back to the business of racing in the IMSA-sanction 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. With two races to go – the Lone Star Le Mans at Circuit of the Americas on Sept. 17 and the season-ending Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta on Oct. 1 – she and the Panoz DeltaWing Racing team are working hard to ensure strong finishes at both races. One of DeltaWing's revolutionary race cars will be featured in the 'Concours Corner' at Caffeine & Octane along with a Panoz sports car and several other unique vehicles that will later be displayed at the Atlanta Concours d'Elegance in October.
