The 1975 Plymouth Valiant group included the Duster and Scamp lines. The Valiant trim level was comprised of a sedan, custom sedan, and a Brougham sedan. The Brougham was a well-appointed and luxurious vehicle. The Duster bodystyle was a coupe and the Scamp was a 2-door hardtop or a Brougham hardtop.

View info and historyThe industry continued to work on improving safety and fuel economy. The Valiant Group received a Fuel Pacer System, Radial tires, and a lower gear ratios and a lighter torque converter. They also received new batteries, and a 50,000-mile spark plug. Plymouth offered a 'Clincher' warrant which offered 12 months of coverage on the entire vehicle without restrictions due to mileage. Power was from an inline six-cylinder engine which displaced 225 cubic-inches and offered nearly 100 horsepower. An optional overhead valve V8 with 318 cubic-inches brought horsepower to 145. The Duster '360' was powered by a 360 CID V8 which had 230 horsepower. The Duster 360 also received upgraded shock absorbers, front and rear sway bar and dual exhaust.Exterior changes included a new cross-hatched grille insert with Valiant identification badge in its center. The Scamp lineup received a de-chromed wraparound taillight. The Custom Coupe had full length body-side moldings and a wide assortment of upholstery and seat designs.

View info and historyThe Duster 2-door coupe proved popular with nearly 80,000 examples sold. 44,471 examples of the Valiant sedan and 56,258 of the Valiant Custom Sedan were built. The Scamp 2-door hardtop coupe accounted for 23,581 sales.
