1997 Honda JWJ

The J-WJ was a futuristic wagon introduced by Honda that joined unique and innovative styling with the aptitude of a performance capable cross-country vehicle. Creating its own classification of ‘High Rider', the J-WJ was a lightweight cross-country car.

The Honda J-WJ was ideal for the driver that believes that series 4WD vehicles are a bit more than what's needed. The performance was stellar due the realtime 4WD with Dual Pump System and larger diameter tires that featured the level of performance that handled rough-rough conditions easily.

The leading vehicle in its category, the Honda J-WJ came with great visibility and adequate ground clearance. With super smooth driving performance, the J-WJ varied from conventional cross-country vehicles with its lightweight and compact body. The Honda Multi-Matic transmission was continuously variable and offered stress-free driving. It's fully opening soft-top roof also gave drivers a panoramic view and the freshness of the outdoors.

With its futuristic look, the J-WJ catches everyone eyes. The exterior featured projector type headlamps while the interior was also quite sharp. The J-WJ featured ABS anti-lock brakes, a dual SRS airbag system, multi-purpose center panel that includes a navigation system and side-opening rear tailgate with built-in spare tire holder.

The Honda J-WJ measured an overall length of 3,950mm, a width of 1,780mm and a height of 1,775mm. The wheelbase measured at 2,360mm and the J-WJ featured with a 1.5-liter VTEC engine.
