1968 Ginetta G16

Seven (possibly eight) examples of the G16 were built by Ginetta Cars, Ltd. of the U.K. between 1968 and 1970. These Group 6 (European FIA 2 Liter GT Championship) sports racers used a variety of engines including a BRM 2.0-liter unit, a BMW 2.0-liter, Coventry Climax, and a Cosworth FVA powerplant. When the G16 contested larger displacement racing series, they were equipped with 3.5-liter V8 Oldsmobile engines.
