The XK8 model was produced to replace the successful XJS. They were powered by a new generation 4.2-liter V8 that offered top speeds of 150 mph. The 294 horsepower, DOHC engine was mated to a fully automatic transmission. They were fitted with many modern day conveniences including factory navigation, air conditioning, Xenon headlights, radio with CD changer, heated seats; power locks, windows, mirrors, seats, steering and four-wheel disc brakes.
