1989 Pontiac Stinger Concept

The distinctive aerodynamic gray-and-green body could be transformed from two-door enclosed transportation to an open-air vehicle for all-season fun, utility, convenience and, of course, Pontiac Driving Excitement!

The vehicle is clothed in a carbon fiber body and features all-wheel drive, removable glass panels, and a very distinctive and aerodynamic body. There are two doors and open-air transportation for all-season fun. It is aimed at the young and the youthful.

When Pontiac created this vehicle, they intermixed the elements of a jeep, truck, van, and an automobile. It was designed by Dave Ross who had hopes this would create a 'new form of transportation that is personalized and adaptable.'
