1975 Pontiac Grand Ville Brougham

The Pontiac Grand Ville was a luxury car produced from 1971 through 1975. In 1975, the Grand Ville Brougham was available as a 2- and 4-door hardtop and as a convertible. The convertible accounted for 4,519 sales while the four-door hardtop was the most popular, selling 15,686 examples. The two-door hardtop found 7,447 buyers.

Between 1971 through 1975, sales of the convertible body style never topped more than 5,000 examples per year. From 1973 through 1975, the Grand Ville was Pontiac's only full-size convertible offering. The 1975 model year - the final year for the convertible - saw the most examples produced. The rarest of the Grand Ville convertibles was in 1971, with just under 1,800 examples built.

Powering the 1975 Grand Ville Brougham was a 400 cubic-inch V8 rated at 185 horsepower, while an optional 455 cubic-inch V8 offered 200 horsepower. The Grand Ville Broughams were similar to the Bonnevilles but with a slightly higher level of accouterments, trim, fender skirts, Grand Ville Brougham signature script behind the front wheel-housings, and wide-body sill accent moldings.
