Mecum Summer Special Exceeds $30 Million in Sales for Third Consecutive Year
Total of 885 Lots Hammer Sold at Florida Collector Car Auction
Well reflecting the auction's varied lineup of offerings, the top 10 sales included a diverse array of vehicles overall, though the overriding theme was American-built muscle. The No. 1 top sale at the auction was America's beloved Ford GT, with a 2005 model (Lot S114.1) showing 2,921 miles selling for $456,500. Ford models ultimately served as bookends of the top 10 list with the No. 10 spot claimed by a 2021 Ford Shelby Super Snake Speedster (Lot S217) that sold for $187,000.
The lone European-built vehicle to make the top sellers list was a 2019 Porsche 911 GT3 (Lot S155.1) that sold for $242,000, which was followed by a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 70th Anniversary Coupe (Lot S161) that sold for $231,000.
