Volkswagen Golf GTI ConceptIn 1976 the Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk I was launched as a low volume addition to the Golf range. Thirty two years, five generations and 1.7 million sales after that car established the breed, the sixth generation of the Volkswagen Golf GTI has been unveiled in concept form ahead of its public debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show.
The core attributes of the original VW Golf GTI - sharp dynamics, style and practicality - remain in the new Volkswagen Golf GTI Concept. Yet the new car uses the latest advances in drivetrain and chassis technology designed to enhance rather than detract from the purity of the driving experience.
The strut-type front and multi-link rear suspension architecture from the conventional Golf are adopted in modified form on the GTI. Specially tuned springs, dampers and anti-roll bars are joined, for the first time on the GTI, by the option of Adaptive Chassis Control (ACC) which comprises adjustable pneumatic dampers. With three settings ranging from 'comfort' to 'normal' and 'sport' the ACC system also remaps the steering and throttle response to give a vehicle that can strike a balance between sharp dynamics and body control and comfort while driving in urban areas or on motorways.
Bentley Arnage Final SeriesSince its debut in 1998 the Arnage has conveyed an air of sophisticated understatement as the four-door flagship of the Bentley range. Over the last decade the car has undergone a process of constant refinement to its body, design, chassis and powertrain to maintain its class-leading position in the high luxury market.
To celebrate 10 years of the Arnage, 50 years of its mighty V8 engine and 90 years of the marque, Bentley Motors will launch its limited edition model at the Paris Motor Show next week.
Called the Bentley Arnage Final Series, the new model features a unique specification, combining the performance of the 500 bhp Arnage T with the refinement of the Arnage R and design elements from the Brooklands coupe, for the ultimate expression of British luxury and effortless power in a four-door saloon – a grand finale, for the grandest of Bentleys.

Maserati GranTurismo MC ConceptRaces have always been the most demanding test-bed for all cars. Traditionally, reliablity and performance are checked on the circuit. It is in races that new technologies and materials are tried out. And it is on the circuit that Maserati has decided to raise the much praised sporty verve of its Maserati GranTurmismo S to even higher levels to create the Maserati GranTurismo MC Concept.
The changes the designers of the Maserati Style Centre have made to the GranTurismo S to create the racing model have improved its performance and above all its aerodynamic efficiency, without disturbing to its elegant, curvaceous line. The radiator grille of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Concept features two large air intakes - designed to increase the air flow to the engine and brakes - and an aerodynamic bottom trim. The front mudguards, with increased track, are also new, as is the engine hood with a dynamic air inlet and two additional air vents.
The car's profile has also been the subject of in-depth aerodynamic analysis, leading to the introduction of unusual side air vents, linked to the new miniskirts under the doors. What's more, the rear of the Maserati GranTurismo MC Concept has new-design fenders to accommodate the air vents and centrally located tailpipes. Last but not least, the boot spoiler is larger in size to increase the down force generated by the profile, thus compensating for the aerodynamic effect of the front spoiler.
Iso LeleThe Lele was a 2+2 sports coupe produced by Italian automaker Iso Rivolta between 1969 and 1974. It was intended to fill the gap between their Grifo and Fida models, and named after the wife of Piero Rivolta, the son of the company's founder, Renzo. The Lele was designed by Marcello Gandini of Carrozzeria Bertone. These cars were originally equipped with a Chevrolet V8 until 1972, when GM demanded advance payment for engines. So later cars, like this example, were built with a Ford 351 Cobra Jet under the hood instead.
Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS ConceptIt will be introduced at the 2008 International Paris Motor Show, a Lancia Ypsilon VERSUS show car produced with the Versace Group brand that will also dress the models on the stand with garments chosen to suit the expressive motifs of the exhibition space. All this confirms the strong bond between Lancia and the world of Fashion. Together with Design and Cinema, Fashion is one of the brand's languages of reference, as is borne out by the choice of Lancia cars as official vehicles for the Milan fashion week.
The Lancia Ypsilon continues to cause a stir, confirming its place as a true icon of Italian design. This time, it is the turn of the ‘Ypsilon VERSUS', an original version created as a result of collaboration between Lancia and Versus, a Versace Group brand that has always been a byword for exquisite styling innovation. With its pronounced tendency for a young, dynamic style, Versus reflects the taste of an audience that is very aware of fashion trends and full of vitality. Attention to detail, care over proportions and top-quality workmanship and materials are the strengths of the brand collections. So it seemed quite natural to combine the VERSUS brand with Ypsilon, the Lancia model directed at the same young and sophisticated audience.

From 2003 : the Jaguar R-D6 ConceptEvery day we make decisions. We choose the rational – following our head – or the emotional – following our heart. The real trick, though, is to balance the two and so get the best of both worlds. This is something that Jaguar understands in a way that few other car companies do.
'With R-D6 we set out to create a concept car which would build on the R-Coupe and further develop Jaguar's new design direction. We also wanted to showcase the latest technology in lightweight vehicle structures and our potent new bi-turbo, common-rail V6 diesel.' Mike Wright Managing Director, Jaguar Cars
Jaguar Director of Design, Ian Callum, and Chief Designer, Advanced Design, Julian Thomson, marshalled the efforts of a small team of groundbreaking designers who seized the opportunity to realise their ideas for the future of the Jaguar marque well before they appear in production form.
'R-D6 represents the pure, sensuous and sporting design that will feature in all new Jaguars, but more than this it is a vision of the future of premium motoring: beautiful, fast, agile, efficient and fun. The fact that it is the most compact four-seater Jaguar ever and defies categorisation makes it even more intriguing and desirable.' Ian Callum Director of Design, Jaguar Cars

Radnor Hunt Concours Best of ShowFor a third year in a row, the judges at the Radnor Hunt Concours chose a Figoni and Falaschi bodied car as their favorite. This year, the honors went to the 1948 Delahaye 135 M owned by John Rich of PA.
This Drophead Coupe by Figoni was one of only 18 of these Mylord cabriolets produced and one of only nine known to exist today. Although each carried the same basic silhouette, all had different treatments of the nose, tail, and lighting positions. This particular example, chassis 801372, is one of the remaining El Glaoui cars, carrying body number 1061. It was delivered to Mr. Venot in a radiant Garnet Red color. It passed through several owners until purchased by the current owner in June 2000 and had a nut-and-bolt restoration to return it to the original Garnet Red color.

The use of aluminium parts and other lightweight materials results in an impressive power-to-weight ratio and underlines the GT2 racing heritage of the car.
Concorso ItalianoThe 23rd Annual Concorso Italiano showcased some of Italy's finest and exciting automobiles, such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Fiat, and Lancia. This year's event celebrated 45 years of Lamborghini, 40 years of the Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona, and the creations of designer Marcello Gandini.
Glenmore Gathering Best of ShowThe Model 853 Special Roadster is the rarest of the straight-eight Horches, with only eight built in two series. The engine is a 4944cc OHV design producing 120 bhp at 3600 rpm, and is accompanied by a four-speed transmission with overdrive. Suspension is independent at all four corners, and the car is equipped with hydraulic brakes with servo assist. The roadster weighs in at 5,798 lb, and has a top speed of 84 mph. The 853 was referred to in Horch literature as being built on a 'short wheelbase,' but shortness is surely relative, since the wheelbase measures 135 inches. The 853s were bodied by Erdmann & Rossi, and each was slightly different. This example, the fourth car of the second series, was commissioned in January of 1938, and has undergone a 12,000 hour restoration by RM Classic Cars in Blenheim, Canada.
In 2004 it was brought to the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance where it was awarded Best of Show.
Peugeot 908 HYPeugeot Sport profited from the final round of the 2008 Le Mans Series at Silverstone to unveil a Peugeot 908 HDi FAP equipped with a hybrid power plant, featuring a kinetic energy recovery system. The Peugeot 908HY was presented in a new, specific silver-grey livery and will provide a foretaste of what Peugeot's next endurance racing challenger could resemble, although its use will depend on the regulations that will govern LMP 1 cars from 2009.
In the course of a lap of Le Mans, for example, the system will recuperate energy for between 20 and 30 seconds. This energy reserve can be used for either delivering extra power thanks to an additional boost of 60 kW (80 bhp) for approximately 20 seconds per lap, either automatically when re-accelerating or when the driver chooses to make use of it ('push to pass') or to reduce fuel consumption for the equivalent level of performance thanks to the mechanical energy recovered (between three and five per cent)
Chevrolet Corvair Monza SS ConceptThe 1963 Corvair Monza SS concept car was one of two Corvair Concepts to make their public debut at the 1963 New York Auto Show. Created in the GM Design studio, Larry Shinoda working under Bill Mitchell's direction penned both this stunning SS roadster and the equally remarkable Monza GT coupe.
Like the GT, the SS was based on a shortened Corvair platform. But unlike the GT, the engine was left in its stock location, behind the transaxle. With a wheelbase of just 88-inches, the rear mounted engine helped give this short wheelbase roadster a comfortable cockpit, featuring fixed seats with adjustable pedals and the added benefit of a small luggage compartment.
When viewed today, with its four-wheel disc brakes and magnesium wheels complimenting the Weber carbureted air-cooled flat-six, the 1963 Monza SS is clearly a concept that demonstrated how heritage can influence the shape of the future.
Chevrolet's air-cooled, rear-engine Corvair reached production for 1960 as GM's answer to the growing popularity of small, inexpensive imports, including the similarly laid-out Volkswagen Beetle. Mitchell was excited by the design possibilities offered by the Corvair's component set. With no big lump of an engine or bulky radiator up front, it enabled the designer's dream of very low, sleek, aerodynamic front ends.
Chevrolet Astro III ConceptChevrolet - Making a Point The radical 1969 Astro III is a two-passenger experimental car resembling an executive jet aircraft, even down to its 'tricycle' wheel arrangement....though it actually has four wheels, with the front pair placed close together under its nose. Powered by a Model 250-C18 gas turbine engine, it was envisioned as a high-performance vehicle suited for future restricted access or system-controlled highways. A power canopy moves forward and upward for entry, and rear vision is provided by closed-circuit TV with a screen on the center console.

These features alone place the new car right in the line of vision of new target groups seeking to combine the individual style of the brand with enhanced versatility within the interior and innovative functionality throughout.
A universal, multifunction fastening rail, the MINI Center Rail, extending between the seats on the centre console of the MINI Crossover Concept, offers not only offers unconventional storage options, but also provides a consistent link between the front row of seats and the rear.
A further highlight within the MINI interior is the innovative central instrument in three-dimensional finish, the MINI Center Globe.
This combined control and display unit formed as a globe featured for the first time in an automobile worldwide sets new standards for the integrated control of entertainment, communication, navigation, and vehicle functions.
The MINI Crossover reflects not only the potential of the MINI model family in growing further and further to new dimensions, but also the innovative power of MINI's designers. In this case, the outlook at an additional MINI concept is enriched by a wide range of visions expressing a unique driving experience and way of life only a MINI is able to evoke.
Citroen C3 PicassoCitroën's new baby-MPV, the C3 Picasso, will be making its first public debut at next month's Paris Motor Show, before a UK launch in 2009. The C3 Picasso will be the third Citroën to join the Company's award-winning Picasso family.
Far from the average MPV, the C3 Picasso's 'magic box' charm lies in the way it is both compact and spacious and also brings together many other opposing qualities - strength and comfort, quality and affordability, performance and economy, contemporary and retro design, square shapes and flowing curves and, significantly, style and practicality.
The new C3 Picasso offers class-leading space, intelligent and quirky design, modular seat layout, intuitive storage solutions, dynamic engines co-developed with BMW, and all the comfort, technology and safety you'd expect of a Citroën MPV. It will also fit comfortably alongside the Xsara and C4 Picassos within Citroën's - 2008's best selling MPV brand in Europe – portfolio.
Bursting forth from the ordinary with its unique, cheeky, character, bubbly personality and charming good looks, the C3 Picasso benefits from a new direction in body design, blending the roomy, versatile shapes of an MPV with the quality, agility and comfort of an SUV and at the same time, challenging the preconceived notions of the compact MPV segment.
The Car Shows of the PVGPThe first Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix race was in 1983. Since that time, the Grand Prix has expanded into a ten day celebration of cars shows, two races, autocross, gala's, parades, car cruises, and more. These extra events serve several purposes with perhaps the most important being to raise awareness about the Grand Prix and to raise funds for the charities.
Each year the PVGP honors a marque, a French word for manufacturer. This year, things were slightly different; instead of selecting just one manufacturer, organizers selected Italian Cars. The list of cars born in Italy include such memorable names as Maserati, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Lancia. At several of the car shows throughout the week, the 'Italian Marques' were grouped together and given the prime real estate on the show field.
2009 Seat Ibiza CupraSet to make their Show debuts on 2 October, the Cupra and Ecomotive are highly significant additions to the sharp-looking new Ibiza range – at a stroke, they become respectively the meanest and greenest versions of SEAT's supermini.
The Cupra is brimming with sophisticated technology. It uses a 180 PS 1.4-litre petrol engine, featuring not only a turbocharger but also a supercharger, an approach beneficial to both power delivery and fuel efficiency. Furthermore, this compact yet potent powerplant is mated to a seven-speed DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) transmission, complete with F1-style steering wheel shift-paddles.
As expected from the Spanish brand whose ethos is ‘auto emoción', the new Ibiza Cupra has style to match its spirit. Based on the SportCoupé (SC) three-door body shape, the Cupra boasts a bespoke look, with a new front bumper and air intakes surrounding the grille. Eye-catching 17'' alloy wheels, a rear diffuser incorporating a centrally-placed trapezoid exhaust pipe, Cupra sports seats and track-inspired aluminium pedals are other visual highlights penned by Luc Donckerwolke, SEAT's Design Director whose curriculum vitae includes the Lamborghini Gallardo and Murcielago.
Audi RS6426 kW (580 hp) and 650 Nm (479.42 lb-ft) of torque – with its twin-turbo V10 and quattro permanent all-wheel drive, the Audi RS 6 is a car without equal. Following on the heels of the RS 6 Avant, Audi now presents the sedan. It drives like a supercar thanks to its superior performance and thrilling dynamics, yet offers all of the everyday utility of a large business sedan.
The engine of the new Audi RS 6 is a high-tech work of art. The 4,991 cc V10 bundles a number of Audi's race-winning technologies – FSI direct fuel injection, dry-sump lubrication and two turbochargers. With up to 1.6 bar of boost pressure, these provide smooth, powerful thrust and an incomparable power band: The peak torque of 650 Nm (479.42 lb-ft) is available from 1,500 to 6,250 rpm and thus nearly over the entire rev range. Peak power of 426 kW (580 hp) is generated between 6,250 rpm and the maximum figure of 6,700 rpm.
With a power-to-weight ratio of 3.4 kilograms per hp, the Audi RS 6 performs like a supercar. It catapults to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in 4.5 seconds on its way to an electronically-limited top speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph), which can be optionally raised to 280 km/h (173.98 mph). The V10 responds immediately and spontaneously to the throttle, and is very smooth while accelerating with a powerful roar.
The engine's power flows through the six-speed tiptronic, one of a new, dynamic generation of Audi automatic transmissions. Its reaction time has been reduced to one tenth of a second, shift time has been halved compared to units used in other models and transmission ratios are short. The driver can also manually change gears either using the shift lever or the paddles on the steering wheel. The tiptronic transmission transfers the power to an extremely sporty, rear-weighted quattro drive train.
Citroen Hypnos Hybrid ConceptWith the 2008 Paris Motor Show just a few weeks away, Citroën is unveiling the Hypnos. The initial appeal of the exterior styling is echoed inside the cabin, with the imaginative use of colour and the ability to make technology more human and approachable. A powerful sensory experience awaits the driver and passengers, taking them into the realm of pure magic.
The special hybrid technology used on Hypnos highlights Citroën's commitment to the environment and shows once again that driving enjoyment and efficiency are not compromised by this strong ecological focus. With its 200 hp engine, Hypnos combines dynamic performance with low fuel consumption and emissions (60+mpg and 120g/km of CO2).
Mercedes-Benz ConceptFASCINATIONMercedes-Benz builds the world's most desirable coupés – a claim which the Stuttgart-based car maker is underlining at the 2008 Paris Motor Show with its ConceptFASCINATION design study. This unique vehicle, whose innovative and unconventional proportions interpret the emotional appeal of a coupé in a new way, represents an exciting and intelligent combination of sporty and elegant design with stylish practicality. Wood, aluminium and smoked glass give a particularly exclusive look and feel to the luggage compartment which incorporates a refrigerated compartment and a humidor as well as offering a large load space. These attributes embody the two objectives of ConceptFASCINATION – to provide a high level of practical usability and to create a coupé which appeals to the heart with fast, thrilling lines. In developing this design study, Mercedes-Benz has given fresh impetus to the long-established (although now rarely seen) 'shooting brake', a vehicle category with its own distinctive charisma. Freed from the constraints of a specifications book, the designers have created an automotive sculpture with great aesthetic appeal which once again demonstrates Mercedes-Benz's high level of design expertise.
ConceptFASCINATION is a unique jewel of compelling automotive design which is distinguished by its irresistibly dynamic lines yet still offers the be-nefits of a large luggage compartment. A particularly notable feature of the design is that the practical load space develops organically from the exciting and elegant lines of this lifestyle coupé, giving it its special charisma. Inside, the tone is set by fine, exceptional materials hand-crafted to the highest standard. Absolute perfection and attention to detail make this design study an incomparable gem which conveys at one and the same time a sense of sporty forward movement and elegance, savoir-vivre and exclusivity of the highest level.
Dr Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, commented: 'This design study continues the long tradition of exciting coupés from Mercedes-Benz in impressive style. With its emotionally ap-pealing lines, ConceptFASCINATION offers a completely new interpretation of the coupé. Its aesthetic, dynamic looks and painstakingly crafted details ensure that this study meets the highest design standards.'

Chevrolet Orlando ConceptThe Chevrolet Orlando show car, making its world premiere at the 2008 Paris Motor Show in October, is a clear indication that Chevrolet is considering an expansion to its portfolio with a seven-seat multi-purpose vehicle with distinctive sport utility-like design, adaptable seating and impressive interior space.
Based on the recently announced all-new Chevrolet Cruze compact sedan, the Chevrolet Orlando show car carries Chevrolet's signature design language into a new vehicle segment. It explores the potential of combining the versatility attributes of a sport utility, a family van and a wagon in a single execution.
Chevrolet Orlando cuts a distinctive silhouette, replacing conventional monocab proportions with a more defined contrast between the hood and windshield lines. With flared fenders instead of a flat side-body, Chevrolet Orlando Concept has a muscular stance that gives it the appearance of a sport utility vehicle, yet it offers dynamic ride and handling, excellent fuel efficiency and easy entry thanks to its car-based architecture.
Volvo C30 DRIVe ConceptAt Paris Motor Show in early October, Volvo Cars is presenting economical new diesel variants of the C30, S40 and V50 models with fuel consumption of just 4.4 litres/100 km (C30) or 4.5 litres/100 km (S40 and V50). The corresponding CO2 figures of 115 and 118 g/km mean that the C30 and V50 have best-in-class CO2 emissions in their segments. All three models - the C30, S40 and V50 - are equipped with a special set of efficiency-enhancing features and marked with the DRIVe emblem to signal their uprated environmental properties.
The DRIVe models are based on the Volvo C30 Efficiency concept car that was shown at the Frankfurt motor show in October 2007. The measures adopted to reduce CO2 emissions that were presented then will be in production before the end of the year in the C30, S40 and the V50.
'We wanted to demonstrate that low CO2 ratings are not solely the preserve of small diesel cars. By offering the Volvo V50 with emission levels below 120 g CO2/km, we are also making it possible for families and other customers who require extra space to make an active pro-environmental choice,' says Volvo Cars President and CEO Fredrik Arp.
Volvo S40 DRIVe Concept'We will offer our diesel-powered DRIVe cars throughout Europe, even in countries that today do not offer any form of financial incentive. We are doing this to give everyone the opportunity to choose a pro-environmental alternative from Volvo. For us it is not simply a question of short-term sales - it also clearly shows how strongly Volvo prioritises environmental properties throughout the product range, both today and for the future,' says Fredrik Arp.
Volvo Cars expects to sell over 20,000 1.6D DRIVe cars next year in Europe. Sales are expected to spread fairly uniformly throughout the region, with France, Sweden and Spain accounting for most sales. The reason for this is the particularly favourable terms offered to buyers in these countries.
The price supplement for the DRIVe package is estimated at between 150 and 450 euros depending on model and market. The DRIVe cars can be specified with most of the options and accessories that Volvo offers, apart from those that affect the cars' aerodynamic properties.
'The higher price must be regarded as particularly modest bearing in mind the advantages the customer gains in the form of environmental incentives and reduced fuel consumption. We also believe customers will appreciate the opportunity to tailor their DRIVe car by choosing from the wide range of options available,' adds Fredrik Arp.
Volvo V50 DRIVe ConceptApart from these three diesel-powered DRIVe cars, Volvo also offers a comprehensive Flexifuel range encompassing five car models and three bioethanol engines. All told, this means that Volvo Cars today offers the market's widest range of premium cars with a low environmental imprint.
Volvo Cars is also conducting intensive research into hybrid technology and future alternative fuels. The attention-grabbing Volvo ReCharge Concept plug-in hybrid and Ford Motor Company's decision to establish its European hybrid centre in Volvo's home town, Göteborg, clearly highlight the environment-technology potential there is within the company.

Porsche Cayenne S TranssyberiaPorsche AG, Stuttgart, is honouring the sporting success of the very popular Cayenne model series through the introduction of a new, special model, the Cayenne S Transsyberia entering the market in early 2009.
The term Transsyberia stands for the intercontinental rally from Moscow to the Mongolian Capital of Ulan Bator about 7,200 kilometres (4,460 miles) away. In 2006 a Porsche Cayenne for the first time won this highly demanding orientation and off-road rally. Then, entering the competition model for the Transsyberia Rally in 2007, Porsche again proved the outstanding competitiveness of a production-based Cayenne S in heavy terrain, finishing the rally first, second and third. And now, just a few weeks ago, the rally vehicle optimised to an even higher standard not only scored its third overall victory in the Transsyberia Rally, but even clinched all leading positions from 1 - 6.
Motivated by this outstanding series of success, Porsche is now for the first time presenting the new Cayenne S Transsyberia for road and off-road use at the Paris Motor Show (4 19 October 2008). Like the extra-robust rally model, the road-going version is also based on the Cayenne S with its 4.8-litre V8 naturally-aspirated power unit featuring highly economical and efficient Direct Fuel Injection. The big difference, however, is that the new Transsyberia comes with the high-performance power unit carried over from the Cayenne GTS, developing 405 bhp (298 kW) at 6,500 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Newton-metres (369 lb-ft) at 3,500 rpm.
Rain sidelined many of the cars in Groups 4-6 and thinned out the spectators who came to watch this annual event. Sad, but not entirely unexpected, as the rain has been a frequent visitor throughout the years to the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. It has become a tradition and one that race officials, and the more than 1,200 passionate volunteers, know how to battle. All six groups were able to run and the spectators who chose to battle the elements were treated to some thrilling, hard-fought racing. The 2.33 mile course with its 23 turns, walls, bends, and some very off-camber turns provided plenty of entertainment for drivers and spectators.
This year's event was a sensational salute to the late broadcaster Myron Cope, a great tribute to the Italian automobiles, and plenty of racing and classic car shows for the car enthusiast. Proceeds benefit charities, with more than $2.25 million donated to the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Valley School since the events inception.

1912 Mercedes Race CarThe car was discovered in Australia after languishing in the elements for many years. It had the remains of a sports racing body and the remains of 9.5-liter, 4-cylinder, overhead cam, WWI, Hall-Scott Aero engine which appears to have been fitted some time during its career.
The car has undergone a meticulous and sympathetic 6-year restoration in England during which a 1914 G.P. Mercedes style body was fitted. Other unique features are positive camber back axle with twin ring and pinion gears, the front axle with fabric wrapped V-shaped wooden inserts, and a V-shaped radiator. Both were early Mercedes attempts at aerodynamics.
2009 Hyundai i20Set to be launched early 2009, the new Hyundai i20 will be a key addition to Hyundai's highly successful i-range. Designed at Hyundai's European Design Centre in Russelsheim, Germany, the stylish new five-door has a longer wheelbase than the existing Hyundai Getz, and is both bigger inside and more dynamic in appearance.
In keeping with the Hyundai i10 and Hyundai i30, the Hyundai i20 features Hyundai's trademark chrome-topped grille and teardrop headlamps at the front, while striking stacked rear light clusters give the rear end a distinctive look. And, as you would expect from Hyundai, the cleverly-packaged interior boasts generous levels of standard equipment.
Kun Hee Ahn. President for Hyundai Motor Europe commented, 'The Hyundai i20 was designed and engineered to meet European tastes and needs. It was built on an entirely new platform and much of the ride and handling development took place on European roads, which has created a firm and agile drive. At HME, we are confident the Hyundai i20 will succeed in the fast paced sub compact sector, as it offers much more in terms standard equipment, fuel economy, interior space and style than many of its competitors.'
