For 1995, BMW boosted the displacement size of their engine found in the 850Ci to 328 cubic-inches which now offered 322 horsepower. The base V-8, dual overhead cam powerplant provided 282 horsepower while the largest, 340 cubic-inch V12 found in the 850CSi gave 372 horsepower. Pricing for the 840Ci was $69,900, while the 850Ci was priced at $88,000. The top-of-the-line 850CSi sold for $100,950. IN total, 789 buyers purchased the 840Ci, and just 160 purchased the 850Ci. 98 examples of the 850CSi were sold in 1995.
