2015 Maserati GranTurismo MC Centennial Edition

Beauty on the inside as you've never seen it before

The interior of the GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition rivals the exterior's statement aesthetic. Visually striking accent panels on the headrests, armrests and steering wheel create a look that is as powerful as it is elegant. The sporty appearance of the interior is enhanced by carbon fibre inserts on the dashboard and seat surrounds, while the celebratory Maserati Centennial logo takes pride of place on the kick plate.

Black is the new black

Black is the colour of choice inside the GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition, reflecting the classic design of the racing cars of yesteryear. The edition's Poltrona Frau® leather upholstery receives an extra touch of luxury from the unusual white double stitching that defines the profiles of the seats and the central tunnel panel. This Maserati design also captivates with its use of texture, pairing the finest leather with the same black carbon fibre that graces the exterior. Three exquisite alternative interiors are available, depending on the chosen paintwork shade.

Discover the ultimate driving experience

Comfort has not paid the price for this model's beauty. Intuitive displays allow for complete control over the interior ambience, optimising the drive experience for all involved. The automatic dual-zone climate control adjusts the ventilation level to the outdoor temperature and allows those on board to select diversified heat settings. Meanwhile the optional Bose Surround Sound® audio system offers a sound quality comparable to the best concert halls.

The GranTurismo: a sportsman at heart

The GranTurismo MC Stradale Maserati Centennial Special Edition is powered by the 460 HP, 4.7 litre V8 that first appeared in the GranTurismo Sport, combined with a robotised, 6-speed MC Race Shift gearbox that guarantees superb performance and a top speed of 303 km/h. This highly innovative engine is designed to adapt to the driving environment, emitting a discreet purr in an urban setting and powerful roar on the open road.

Harnessing the power of a V8

Hydraulic transmission makes full use of the engine's power: the auto-adaptive automatic gearbox delivers top performance at low and medium engine speeds without restricting power at high rpm. It also allows gear shifts to be postponed to up to 7.100 rpm, higher revs than almost any other automatic transmission in the world. The model offers three operating modes for responsive sports handling: Normal Automatic, Sport Manual and Race Manual.

Advanced technology in every detail

For one hundred years, Maserati has prided itself on its innate ability to push the boundaries of automotive engineering. Drivers of this centennial model will enjoy an optimised weight distribution and innovations such as the Brembo braking system and Maserati Stability Programme. The latter is an advanced electronic system which, in the event of skidding, reduces torque and triggers the brakes to stabilise the car almost instantly.

Crafting a century of success

In 1914 Maserati was founded on the principles of craftsmanship and attention to detail, and these are still the predominant values one hundred years on. From the selection of the very best materials to the tailor-made interior, the GranTurismo MC Stradale Centennial Edition bears witness to the signature savoir-faire of the House of the Trident.

A bespoke interior, painstakingly delivered

The headrests of this exclusive edition display an embroidered Trident as a visual reference to the iconic logo. Eye-catching features also include contrasting stitching on the dashboard and central tunnel, along with the Maserati Centennial logo that takes pride of place on the kick plate. Even the carpets have not been overlooked: their new coloured borders reflect the accent colour used elsewhere in the interior.

Making an impression in the House colours

As well as Rosso Magma, three more triple-coat colours have been created to celebrate Maserati's centenary, each one matched to specific interiors: Blu Inchiostro, Grigio Pietra (with mica providing an interesting metallic effect) and Bianco Birdcage. Nero Carbonio, Bianco Eldorado and Grigio Granito then complete the choice of colours.
