1990 Renault Alpine

Hatchback Coupe
Chassis number: VFAD5010500023155

The Alpine models built a reputation in the 1960s for their performance and their accomplishments. Renault later outright purchased the Alpine Company after years of casual affiliation and began to use Alpine to production special high-performance versions of its products.

The Renault Alpine V6 Turbo of 1985 - 1990 featured modern bodywork, aerodynamic efficiency, and constructed using innovative lightweight materials, including fiberglass and polyester fabrics. The body was mounted on a Lotus-style backbone chassis and given a turbocharged V-6 engine. Production was limited partly due to them being mostly handcrafted, resulting in about three V6 Turbos produced daily.

This particular example was imported from Japan and remains in good original condition, including the dark blue exterior finish, grey leather interior, and OEM alloy wheels. Since new, it has been driven about 17,000 miles.

This Alpine is powered by a 2485cc SOHC V6 engine offering 200 horsepower and mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
