The Lordstown executive team is led by founder and former CEO of Workhorse, Steve Burns, as well as other key former members of the Workhorse C-Suite. Joining Lordstown will also be experienced automotive leaders from Tesla, GM, VW, Karma Automotive, and Formula One. The Lordstown Motors headquarters is one of the largest and most productive manufacturing plants ever operated. With over six million square feet of space and a 50+ year history dating to 1966, the Lordstown Complex has produced over 16 million vehicles in its lifetime. We're expecting production to ramp up as early as the second half of 2020. In the meantime, we will be preparing the manufacturing plant for production while also working with the people of Lordstown to build a long-term plan for sustainability.
