2003 Subaru B9 Scrambler Concept

Subaru introduced their B9 Scrambler Concept at the 2003 Tokyo Motorshow. It was an environmentally friendly roadster with power supplied by a 2-liter SOHC flat-four combustion engine. The combustion engine provided additional power when needed and provided regenerative power to the batteries.

The Subaru B9 Scrambler was an all-wheel drive concept that had an adjustable and self-leveling air suspension.

The name of the B9 Scrambler, as well as the front end design, where inspired by Subaru's aircraft heritage.

The B9 Scrambler had many features that were 'concept', such as dent and scratch resistant lower panels.
