Peter Kjellberg named Chief Judge for Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance

Rancho Palos Verdes CA, May 28, 2015 - The Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance has named Peter Kjellberg of Rolling Hills Estates CA as its new Chief Judge. He takes over from the retiring Roy Miller.

Kjellberg began judging at Palos Verdes in 1993, and has judged there each year since, always as a team leader.

His judging specialties are 1940s and 1950s American cars, and Post War European sports cars. He also has general expertise in many other marques. He has judged at every major concours in Southern California and is well known and respected in the judging fraternity.

While growing up in Sweden he built hot rods and repaired and restored old cars in his spare time. He emigrated to the United States in 1979 and went into the automotive service business in the South Bay area of Los Angeles. Prior to opening his current business specializing in Swedish cars, Peter performed restorations on various autos, including Ferraris and Cadillacs.

The 23rd annual Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance will be held at the Los Verdes Golf Course in Rancho Palos Verdes on Sunday, September 20, 2015. Its theme will be Automotive Standards of the World, and the featured marques will be Cadillac, Darrin Coachwork, and Ferrrari.

Twenty one classes have been established to showcase a variety of automobiles that exemplify excellence in the automotive world.
