For 1993, the turbocharged Audi S4 sold for $47,750. The five-cylinder Turbo engine provided nearly 230 horsepower and was mated to a five-speed manual gearbox (the only transmission available on the S4). Zero-to-sixty took a mere 6.2 seconds while achieving 23 MPG on the highway. For 1993, Audi sold just 12,528 vehicles (all models and bodystyles) in the United States. Since the S4 was the second most expensive vehicle in Audi's arsenal, it can be assumed that very few were produced.
