The BYD (Build your Dreams) S6 DM (meaning dual mode) is a dual model suv that can be powered by battery or regular gasoline engine. The S6DM has two motors, both produce 14 horsepower which power the front wheels and a 102 horsepower gasoline power-plant to power the rear wheels. The gasoline engine and the electric motor can be used at the same time to get AWD traction. The S6DM is capable of traveling about 60km on a single charge and with a full tank of gasoline and full battery, the S6 should be capable of around 500km.
