2003 Jaguar XKR

For 2003, the overall appearance of the XKR saw very little changes. It received new badging and reworked headlights. The XKR had a functional louvered hood, a rear spoiler and xenon high-intensity-discharge headlights. The performance-adding Brembo disc brakes were standard. IN the front was a fine-mesh great in-place of the XK8's bar design. A 'R' logo and a 'Jaguar Supercharged' badge hinted at the cars 4.2-liter dual-overhead-cam V8 engine and its supercharger. The engine produced 390 horsepower and nearly 400 pounds-feet of torque.

The car was available as either a coupe and convertible. The convertibles had a one-touch power soft-top and a glass rear window with a defogger. All XK models had headlight washers.

The XKR had 2+2 seating, though the rear seats were barely capable of holding occupants. The seating was clothed in Connolly leather and there was abundant wood trim throughout the cockpit. The XKR models were equipped with a six-CD changer and a 320-watt Alpine audio system. Jaguar's navigation system was standard and the Adaptive Cruise Control system was optional.
