1993 Mazda Miata

The 1993 Mazda Miata MX-5 Roadster was powered by a dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder, 16-valve engine that displaced 1597cc and offered 116 horsepower. It came standard with a five-speed manual gearbox and was capable of racing from zero-to-sixty 9.1 seconds. Fuel economy was equally impressive, capable of 30 mpg on the highway.

Standard equipment included an AM/FM cassette stereo. 'Brilliant Black' became available as an exterior color. A leather interior finished in classic tan, and a vinyl top in a similar color was available as optional equipment.

During the 1993 model year, Mazda sold 259,890 vehicles in the United States.
