1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Series

For 1967, the Chevrolet Chevy II series was made up of the 100 Series, the Nova Series, and the Nova Super Sport. The Chevy II 100 was available as a 2- and 4-door sedan and as a station wagon. Around 35,900 examples were built during the model year, with pricing starting at $2090. They received minor changes for 1967, including a new anodized aluminum grille that had a horizontal center bar design, with a Chevy II nameplate on the driver's side.

Standard equipment on the 100 Series included grille opening moldings, front bumper mounted parking and direction signal lamps, small hubcaps, venti-pane frames, chromed outside rearview mirror, and deck lid or tailgate Chevy II emblems. The inside was trimmed in cloth and vinyl or all-vinyl.

Other standard features found on the Series 100 included instrument cluster bezel, brakes system warning light, glove compartment lock, foam-cushioned seat in the front, folding front seatback latches, and black rubber floor covering. They also came with four-way hazard flashers and center dome light.

Power was from an overhead valve 153 cubic-inch four-cylinder engine delivering 90 horsepower. A six-cylinder unit was available, displacing 187.6 cubic-inches and offering 120 horsepower.

The Nova Series came as a sedan, 2-door hardtop coupe, or as a 6-passenger station wagon. Pricing began at $2,300. Styling designs included black-accented body-side moldings, roof drip cap moldings, and full-width deck lid or tailgate trim panel. They also had bright roof rear quarter belt molding on the sedans, and the two-door hardtops had door and rear quarter moldings. The interiors were cloth and vinyl while the station wagons were all-vinyl.

The Novas came with an illuminated heater control panel, cigarette lighter, glove compartment light, and instrument panel nameplate. Other unique items included foam cushioned rear seat, color-keyed floor carpeting, and automatic front dome light switches.

In total, around 47,600 examples of the Nova were produced.

The Super Sport Novas came with SS emblems on the driver's side, lower body moldings, body-side accent stripes, and special black-accented grille. The interiors were all-vinyl with front Strato bucket seats. They had a three-spoke steering wheel and Super Sport fender scripts.

Pricing for the hardtop coupe began at $2,450.
