1953 Atlas-Allied V8 Special

Roadster

The Atlas Fiber-Glass company was founded by Roy Kinch and Mickey Thompson. The company built roadster and coupe bodies. The mold for the body was sourced from a Cisitalia 202 Grand Sport. Initially, it was built to rest upon an MG TC and MG TD chassis. Two larger sizes were later offered.

The company name was later changed to the Allied Fiber-Glass Company.

This vehicle is an Atlas Ford V8 Special. The engine is a Ford flathead with three Holley 94 carburetors on the Edelbrock manifold.
