1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SL

The Mercedes-Benz 500SL made its debut in 1990 and continued into 1992 with very little change. The automatic convertible top worked through 15 hydraulic servos, 11 solenoids, and 17 proximity switches. The 32-valve dual overhead cam, 304 cubic-inch V8 engine offered 320 horsepower. It had a Bosch KE 5 CIS multi-point fuel injection system and an automatic transmission.

The 500 SEC was produced in 1984 and 1985. Under the bonnet was powered by a five-liter V8 engine that produced just under 185 horsepower. The SEC was a two-door coupe with seating for five.
