The Giugiaro-penned SVX was produced from 1991 to 1996. It was the company's first attempt at a luxury performance car. Its exotic styling matched its performance, achieving 0-60 mph in just 7.3 seconds on its way to a top speed of 154 mph. For 1992, the SVX had a base price of $26,250 and was available in two trim levels, the LS and the LS-L. The horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine displaced 203 cubic inches and offered 230 horsepower. It had all-wheel drive and a four-speed automatic transmission.
