1980 Lada Vaz 2101

The Lada Vaz-2101, also known as the 'Zhiguli' and 'Kopeyka' was a compact sedan and was introduced in 1970 through 1988. Between 1970 until 1982, they were virtually unaltered. They were produced by AvtoVaz and were a re-engineered version of the Fiat 124. These 'no-frills' budget car proved to be popular, with sales reaching one million units on December 21, 1973.
