MG Sees Sales Soar In February
March 5, 2018 by MG Motor UK LimitedMG Motor UK has announced another exceptional month for sales, cementing its strong start to 2018. The manufacturer recorded 186 vehicle registrations in February – an increase of 67% when compared to the same period last year. This latest rise in registrations means MG continues to buck the trend, with the market experiencing another downturn of 2.8 per cent in February, according to data released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT). MG looks to be on course for a successful 2018, with figures for the first two months of the year showing a 109% increase in sales compared to 2017. Daniel Gregorious, Head of Sales & Marketing at MG Motor UK, believes: 'We are delighted with the start that MG Motor UK has made to 2018. A big contributing factor to this growth is the successful launch of our Compact-SUV, the MG ZS with its 7-year/80,000 mile warranty. This enhanced line-up has brought renewed dynamism to the brand. 'Our strategy of offering affordable, quality cars is proving to be an effective one in the challenging UK new car market. Our continued efforts to grow our MG dealer network is helping us to reach more and more people.' For 2018, MG Motor UK will also be investing in its Training Centre, adding new technologies and extended workshop space at MG's Longbridge home.
