The Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class was available as either a coupe or convertible. The highest performance option was the CLK55 convertible which was powered by a 5.5-liter AMG tuned V8 fitted into a lightweight body. Zero-to-sixty took just 4.8 seconds and had an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. The CLK320 had a six-cylinder dual overhead cam engine that offered 220 horsepower while the CLK430 had a eight-cylinder 260 CID engine rated at 275 horsepower.
