The Lomax Motor Company of Willoughton, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire began kitcar production in the early 1980s. Their vehicles had underpinnings sourced from the widely available Citroen 2CV. They were open roadsters with seating for two occupants. Their model designation was 223, which represented two cylinders, two seats, and three wheels. The Model 224 had two cylinders, two seats, and four-wheels. Production was transferred to the Mumford Motor Company of Gigg Mill, Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, in the late 1980s and would remain there until the early 1990s. In the late 2000s, production moved to Cradley Motor Works of St Leonard's-on-Sea, East Sussex. This particular example is currently on display at the Miami Auto Museum. By Daniel Vaughan | Jun 2016
