1959 Cadillac Ecto 1

1959 Cadillac Ecto 1 The Cadillac Ecto1 was built on the 1959 Cadillac commercial vehicle chassis and only about 200 of these 1959 Cadillac MM Ambulance / Hearses were ever built. Sony used one commercial chassis for Ecto-1 and one for Ecto-1a (part 2 car) for the filming of the movie, Ghostbusters. The Ghostbusters used the cars to travel throughout New York City fighting ghosts and other entities. Currently, there are just 8 known 'legit' Ecto-1 replicas in America. Sony still owns Ecto-1 and Ecto-1a.

The cars featured many road gadgets, 'no ghost' door decals, and a modified stretcher to hold the proton packs.
