The Siata Spring was a sports car based on parts sourced from the Fiat 850. It wore front-end styling by Enrico Fumia and remained in production until 1970, when Siata went into bankruptcy. Between 1968 and 1970, Siata produced around 3,500 examples of the Spring. Although this was a rather big number for the small car manufacturer, it was not enough to save them from bankruptcy. It is estimated that around 350 examples have survived in modern times. The Siata Spring had a reputation for rusting, poor build quality, and a lack of performance.
