1989 Nissan S Cargo

The Nissan S-Cargo was a commercial van manufactured from 1989 through 1991, and originally sold solely in Japan at their Nissan Cherry Stores. The exterior styling was inspired by the Citroen 2CV Fourgonnette delivery van.

The S-Cargo was introduced in 1988 at the Tokyo Motor Show and was available by reservation only. Its name, the 'S-Cargo' stood for 'Small Cargo.' During its production lifespan, approximately 8,000 examples were built.

The front-engined, front-wheel drive vehicle was powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission.
