Genesis Announces August Sales
September 4, 2018 by GenesisFOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., September 4, 2018 – Genesis Motor America today reported sales of 613 in August, a 66 percent decrease compared with the prior year. While planning to transition to a smaller retail network, importation of model year 2018 vehicles was stopped in the spring. This retail result stems from a significant lack of inventory. In August, Genesis participated in the Monterey Classic Car Week for the third consecutive year. Genesis displayed the high-performance Essentia Concept at McCall's Motorworks Revival: at The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering; and at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, alongside the most innovative concept vehicles. Genesis also displayed throughout the week and donated a 2019 G70 as part of a charity raffle, to benefit Animal Friends Rescue Project & Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation. The new Genesis retail network will begin to open and the first-ever, all-new 2019 G70 luxury sport sedan will launch in September,
