1962 Gemini MK IV

The Chequered Flag Engineering Company of London built a series of Formula Junior racing cars named Gemini from 1959 through 1963. The principal of The Chequered Flag Car Sales, Graham Warner, purchased the Moorland MK2 which had been constructed by Leslie Redmond using drawings supplied by Len Terry. The car was later renamed the Gemini Mk 1.

Mr. Warner had purchased the jigs, moulds, and design rights for the Moorland, and retained Mr. Redmond's services as a designer. A new company was formed, named Chequered Flag Engineering.

Around thirty examples of the MK 2 were built with most being powered by BMC A-Series engines. Four examples were equipped with Ford Cosworth power.

In 1960, the Gemini MK 3 was introduced followed by the MK 3A a year later.
