1981 Fiat 242

History

This Fiat 242 was in production from 1974 through 1987. It was built in cooperation with Citroen who sold it in France under the name Citroen C35. Both vans, the 242 and the C35, were powered by Fiat engines. When Fiat discontinued the 242 in 1987, the Citroen version continued to be sold in France until 1992, using a Chausson engine.
